At St Marie’s RC Primary School, our music curriculum intends to inspire creativity and self-expression and encourages our children on their musical journeys. We understand that music can motivate our children and plays an important role in their personal development. We recognise that music can help children develop a greater appreciation of the world we live in, by understanding different cultures and societies through musical experiences shared. Through immersing the children in these experiences, we hope to foster a life-long love of music whilst igniting a passion for music.
