At St Marie’s, supporting charities is an important part of our commitment to living out our mission: “Following the teachings of Christ so that we are His hands and feet!”. Inspired by this, we encourage our children to show compassion, generosity, and care for others. Through fundraising events, community projects, and acts of service, our pupils put their faith into action, learning that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

By working together to support a range of local, national, and global charities, our school family grows in love, empathy, and understanding, truly living out the Gospel values at the heart of all we do.

At our school, each class supports a chosen charity that they fundraise for throughout the year, alongside a number of whole-school charity initiatives.

Some of the charities we support and fundraise for include:

CAFOD

Caritas

Bury Homeless Project

Macmillan Cancer Support
