At St Marie’s, sharing the Wednesday Word is a cherished tradition that reflects our Mission: Following the teachings of Christ so that we are His hands and feet! We aim to live as Christ’s hands and feet by showing love, compassion, and responsibility in our daily lives. Each week, our children engage with this valuable resource, exploring scripture and considering how it relates to their own lives through Collective Worship.

The Wednesday Word helps us strengthen our spiritual foundation, encouraging both children and their families to share and discuss the Word of God together at home. As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Through this weekly practice, we bring the light of faith into our community and deepen our connection with God’s teachings.
